ProSec Global
The ProSec Group

A German security group with a strong focus on cyber.

Organically grown, professionalized and internationally recognized. Five business units, sovereign in their discipline, and a core that orchestrates, prioritizes and steers: ProSec Global.

Who we are

Grown out of offensive security.

What began as a specialized company in offensive cybersecurity is today a group of companies that uncovers, investigates, safeguards, proves and enables. The conviction behind it has been the same since day one: security is not claimed, it is proven.

We work for companies in highly regulated industries, align ourselves with demanding standards and invest deliberately in fields in which substance makes the difference. ProSec Global is the place where the overall business perspective comes together.

Group Strategy

Why our growth is organized in specialized units across the group.

We have organized growth not through centralization but through clear responsibility. The specialized units run their disciplines independently, and ProSec Global connects them where business decisions need several perspectives. In this way, professional depth and shared leadership are preserved at the same time. Four pillars carry this decision.

01 | Subculture

Top-level skill follows its own rules

Those who work at the top of this craft bring their own culture of working and presenting themselves, one that eludes the usual corporate conventions. We deliberately let it stand, because it cannot be separated from the skill. Whoever standardizes it keeps the form and loses the substance.

02 | Ownership

The group has no exit date

Capabilities of this kind develop over years, not quarters. The group is led by those who built it and who own it. That determines the time frame in which we calculate: we build competence before it pays for itself and let units grow instead of exploiting them.

03 | Leadership work

We carry the complexity in management

Leading five independent units takes more effort than pressing them all into one mold. We deliberately take this effort upward: as work in management rather than as a burden on people. For you it stays simple: one contact, one line, the depth of five firms.

04 | Innovation campus

A shared place holds together what works separately

So that separation does not turn into isolation, the units share one place: here, testing, training, research and education take place. What is created in offensive security reaches consulting, and consulting brings the business question back with it.

The difference does not lie in five business units. It lies in the fact that specialization is preserved and a shared answer still emerges.

Business units

One shared assessment. Five specialized units.

ProSec Global assesses starting situations at leadership level, prioritizes the need for action and brings the right competencies together. The business units bear professional responsibility in their respective discipline – independent in depth, connected in the shared answer.

Group principles

What we measure ourselves by.

Five principles bind all units of the group. They decide which mandates we accept, how clearly we state findings and what we stand for beyond the individual project.

01
Principle 01

Collaborative & inclusive

Diversity is not a program but a prerequisite: whoever wants to understand attacks needs different ways of thinking at the table. That applies within the group just as much as in the work with your specialist departments and your boards.

02
Principle 02

Courageous & innovative

We question the status quo before an attacker does. That includes building capabilities for which there is no market yet, and stating findings that are uncomfortable in the meeting.

03
Principle 03

Flexible & adaptable

The threat situation does not follow planning cycles. The group is set up so that it shifts expertise and capacity to where the risk actually arises, without you having to select yet another provider for it.

04
Principle 04

Reliable & sustainable

Reliability is the foundation, not an extra. We enter into commitments over periods that reach beyond individual projects, and keep them through changes in technology, regulation and organization.

05
Principle 05

Results-focused

The yardstick is not the size of a report, but what is demonstrably more secure afterwards. What cannot be translated into a decision does not belong in a result.

✕
Stance

Substance over show

We commit to what we can carry, and carry what we commit to. Where an expectation cannot be met, we say so before the engagement and not in the final report.

Footprint

Traces that remain beyond individual mandates.

What we learn from the attacker’s perspective should not only benefit individual clients. That is why we do research, bring our experience into legislation and politics, and share tools where they achieve more.

Security research

Finding unknown vulnerabilities before attackers use them.

Our business units continuously search for unknown vulnerabilities and report them to the manufacturers. Every closed gap protects everyone who uses the product.

Legal framework

Legal certainty for security research.

We contributed to the amendment of Section 202c of the German Criminal Code (StGB), the preparation of data espionage and data interception. Whoever reports gaps in good faith needs legal certainty.

Politics

Advising individual parliamentary groups of the German Bundestag.

We bring experience from offensive practice to where the framework conditions for cybersecurity are decided.

Executive management
Good strategy and management consulting only works on an equal footing.
“People only fully understand each other when they share a similar social habitus and common frames of reference. That is our principle: with us, managing directors advise managing directors and board members advise board members.”
