Information on the processing of personal data on this website pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR.
1. Data protection at a glance
This privacy policy informs you about which personal data is processed when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified.
This website is deliberately built to be data-minimizing: it sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools, embeds no third-party content and contains no forms. Only the technically necessary connection data when pages are requested is processed, as well as the data you provide to us yourself by email or phone.
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
ProSec GmbH
Karl-Schiller-Straße 9–17
56743 Mendig
Germany
Phone: 0261 45093090
Email: info@prosec-global.com
Represented by the managing directors: Tim Schughart, Christoph Ludwig. Further details can be found in the Legal notice.
Please send data protection inquiries with the subject “Datenschutz” (data protection) to the postal or email address given above.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. When you visit the website, the connection data described below is processed on the host’s servers.
The host is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, fast and reliable provision of this website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
4. Server log files
When this website is requested, your browser automatically transmits information that the host stores in server log files. This is: the page or file requested, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, status of the request, browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL and the IP address of the requesting device.
This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to create usage profiles. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation, the stability and the security of this website. The log data is stored only for as long as is necessary for these purposes and is then deleted.
5. Cookies, analytics and third-party content
This website sets no cookies and stores no information on your device. No analytics, tracking or advertising services are used.
Fonts, images, style sheets and scripts are loaded exclusively from our own server. When you visit this website, no connection to third-party servers is therefore established. For this reason, consent pursuant to Section 25 TDDDG is not required.
6. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your inquiry) in order to handle your request. This website does not contain a contact form.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your data remains with us until the purpose of processing no longer applies, you object to the processing or you ask us to delete it. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected. Please note that unencrypted emails can be read by third parties in transit; we therefore exchange sensitive documents only via an agreed communication channel.
7. Job vacancies and applications
The careers page shows the open positions of the companies of the ProSec Group. The list is retrieved by our server from the job portals of the respective companies; your browser does not connect to these portals in the process. Only when you click on a position are you taken to the portal of the respective company. Data processing there is governed by the privacy policy of the respective provider.
If you send us an application by email, we process the data you transmit (e.g. contact details, CV, references) exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the application process. The legal basis is Section 26 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If no employment relationship comes about, we delete your documents no later than six months after the process has been completed, unless you have consented to longer storage.
8. Links to other websites and social media profiles
This website contains links to the websites of the business units of the ProSec Group, to profiles on social networks (e.g. LinkedIn) and to other external services. These are simple links; social media plugins or embedded content are not used. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider when you click on a link. The respective provider is responsible for processing on the linked pages.
9. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Your data is only passed on to third parties where this is necessary to handle your request, where we are legally obliged to do so, or where a processor (such as our host) acts on our behalf. The operation of this website does not involve any transfer to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
10. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address line begins with “https://”. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
11. Your rights
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information about your personal data stored by us (Art. 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.
To exercise your rights, an informal message to the postal or email address given in section 2 is sufficient.
12. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Rhineland-Palatinate)
Hintere Bleiche 34
55116 Mainz
13. Automated decision-making
Automated decision-making, including profiling, does not take place on this website.
